I know this may seem a bit harsh at first, but not having mercy on the victims is very harsh! To deny the victims, in order to support the perpetrators seems excessively foolish. And yet, in the movies today, we are constantly exposed to sympathy toward the perpetrators of crimes, while at the same time told, that the victims just need to deal with it!
If Gideon was actually a man of God, which God has said that He is "the God of the oppressed," then Gideon would also be a saviour of the oppressed. Instead, Gideon proved to be an accomplice to the torture, suffering, and death of many people. All because of incorrect doctrine about Father.
