The Book of Mormon is our guide, our legend, to help us understand the other scriptural writings we use. The 1830 edition of the Book of Mormon is the version we believe to be the most accurate as it keeps the fullness of the gospel, the plain and precious things, in tact.

The Holy Bible is a major source of many scriptural writings that have been passed down through the generations. We use both the New Testament and Old Testament of the Holy Bible so long as it is in accordance with the teachings found in the Book of Mormon.
